Free Bikes 4 Kidz! is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, FB4K organizes thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then gives them away to kids in need. For more information, check out FB4Kmn.org.
UPDATE: The FB4K folks have good news! All the bikes they have collected have been cleaned and refurbished at this time! Instead of meeting to work on the bikes, we are shifting gears (#dadjoke) so that we can still contribute to the children’s enjoyment of their bikes by making sure our bike paths are cleared of litter and debris!
