We’ve invited three artists to lead a class this summer which will explore artistic and meditative practices as a way to connect more fully with God. Sign up for each class individually.
Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m.—Artist and occupational therapist Susan Weislow will teach us how to paint a mandala stone. A sample can be found in the church office. Through this meditative practice, you will be amazed at the beautiful piece you can create.
Monday, July 15 at 6 p.m.—Painter, sculptor and teacher John Sterner will lead us in a technique called neurographic art. You will create a beautiful and satisfying piece of abstract art and learn a new technique for life-long artistic exploration.
Monday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.—Amanda Berger will lead this workshop on collage art journaling. Learn how to combine images, shapes and colors to express your experiences and dreams.
