Plogging: (plog-ing) WHAT on Earth is Plogging?
SPD joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to go Plogging! The word plogging is an English-Swedish combination of jogging and plocka upp, which means “pick up” in Swedish. Now is your chance to be a part of the movement to intentionally exercise and pick up trash as a group!* Some of you already go plogging so why not multiply your efforts and plog together?
Who: All ages and abilities of runners & walkers are invited! Can’t come each week? That is just fine! Come-as-you-can. Registration is helpful to stay in-the-loop, but not required. Come when you can; stay as long as you like!
When: Saturdays at 8:00 AM | Locations vary so please check the schedule! We plog in light rain but sessions will be cancelled for thunderstorms.
