We Can Help Wednesday

When

Wednesday, June 19th from 8:00am – 4:00pm

This program intends to show kids that they can surely make a difference for others. Part of our day is spent working, lending a hand to others, and part is spent playing. Sign up for one or sign up for all. Please note registration deadlines. (We’re looking for chaperones, too—no charge!)

  • June 19 – 2nd Harvest Heartland and Fawn Doe Rosa
  • June 26 – Loaves and Fishes Garden and Urban Air
  • July 10 – Feed My Starving Children and then Bunker Beach
  • July 17 – Snapology and then 2nd Chance Ranch
  • July 31 – Work at SPD, then Old Log and Lake Minnetonka Park

Second Harvest Heartland / Fawn-Doe-Rosa Animal Park
We will start our day at Second Harvest Heartland, a local foodbank. After that, we will head to Fawn-Doe-Rosa Animal park where we will be able to enjoy the animals, and maybe take a pony ride.

Snapology / Second Chance Ranch
This day is a little upside down because we will play first and then serve. We’ll start out at “Snapology,” which is all things LEGOS! Second Chance Ranch is an amazing place where animals (mostly horses and dogs) come to be given a second chance after someone didn’t want them.

Serve at SPD / Old Log Theater

July 31, 8:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m. / Cost: $25. Register by July 1
Ages: Completed Grades K-5

— CHRISTIAN WISDOM —

“The dogma of the Incarnation is the most dramatic thing about Christianity, and indeed, the most dramatic thing that ever entered the mind of man; but if you tell people so, they stare at you in bewilderment.”

Dorothy Sayers
