arnworkers who knit, crochet or weave are invited to drop in at the church for our special Prayer Shawl-a-Thon on Friday, Nov. 8. We’ll work on our prayer shawl projects together, pausing regularly throughout the day to pray for those who will receive these shawls.
We’ll start the day at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., so you can set aside any part of the day to come and share in the work, share your skill and wisdom with new knitters and crocheters, and share in fellowship with like-minded textile creators.
If you are new to knitting or crocheting, there will be experienced yarnworkers on hand who can help you.
Bring your own yarn, or we will have additional yarn and patterns on hand to help you get started. No need to register. Come when you can, go when you need to. And thank you for being a part of our Prayer Shawl Ministry!
