Men’s Study: Life, Faith & Writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Monday, January 29th from 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Join Pastor Mark Schmid for a five-week study on the life, faith and writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian, pastor and twentieth century martyr who died at the hands of the Nazi’s just weeks before Germany surrendered towards the end of WWII. Bonhoeffer’s faithful and thought-provoking writings have stood the test of time and are as relevant today as they were 80 years ago. This course will help prepare you for the season of Lent, where we will be using Bonhoeffer’s 1938 classic book on living in Christian community, “Life Together”. Class begins January 15 and runs through February 12. Note: the class on January 15th will be 90 minutes.

“The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn’t have been complete without you.”
