Last Summer, St. Philip the Deacon completed work on a Columbarium—a wall with niches to receive and store cremation urns. Like traditional burial grounds, a Columbarium allows families and friends to remember and honor loved ones in a setting that is directly connected to the life of the congregation. This beautiful space just outside our chapel has already become an important addition to our physical plant. To date, more than 25 percent of the available niches have been reserved.
On Tuesday, June 18, we will hold an informational meeting at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for anyone interested in learning more about our Columbarium. We will provide an overview of the Columbarium, discuss how families can participate in it as a burial option, and answer any questions you may have. Please join us!
