2020 End of Year Giving Guidelines

2020 has obviously been—and remains—an unusual and challenging year, but thanks to your generous support, we have been able to lean into the profound disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and develop new and innovative ways to continue the important work of this congregation. As the year concludes, please follow these guidelines for your final 2020 contributions:

Gifts may be delivered to the church office or placed in the mail drop-box outside the west office door (Door B); or given electronically before midnight on Dec. 31 or, mail your gift with a Dec. 31 postmark. Offerings received after these Dec. 31 guidelines will be recorded as 2021 offerings, regardless of which year’s envelope is used. Gifts of stock and IRA distributions should also follow these guidelines. If you transfer stock to the church’s Schwab account, please let us know about your gift, as donor names are not disclosed by Schwab.

If you wish to prepay your 2021 contributions, please make a notation on the envelope and check memo “Prepayment for 2021.” To receive credit on your 2020 year-end statement, 2021 prepayments must also be received by the guidelines above. If you give an electronic gift that you wish to be recorded as a 2021 prepay, please call or email that information to the finance office.

We believe our mission and ministry are particularly critical during this time, and we are grateful to you for your part in helping us continue to Reach Out, Proclaim and Inspire. Remember: Your gifts make a difference—now more than ever. (Ephesians 1:15-19)
